I needed socks in fall and winter colors. These will do very well. The colors are somewhat muted and "tweedy" which allows them to blend in well with several different colors of slacks. The fit is good. The socks are not skimpy, so they don't crowd my toes or slide down into the shoe. They are not so large that I wind up with wrinkles and folded sock material inside my shoes. I have neuropathy, so my legs and feet are sensitive and a good fit is essential. I washed one pair and they came out well--no shrinkage or loss of color. They look sturdy and continued wearing will tell me how well they hold up.
