Was looking for some good thin, but warm ski socks. These have the merino wool, so they're soft but warm, and also the synthetic materials which supposedly help to wick away sweat to keep feet warm and not soggy and cold. I like the way they're sewn, with the no-seam. They seem to work pretty well for keeping my Reynaud's(poor circulation) feet warm, at least for 3 hours which is the max I've personally worn these for at one time. I will say, I have slightly thicker calves and these barely stretch to get up over them and it's a very tight fit(tighter than I believe compression socks are normally). So if you're heavier-set and/or have thicker calves, just be informed. I believe these were Prime so at least you can purchase and try on and return if they don't work for your calves.Love these socks! So comfortable and they last forever. I am very hard on socks so when I found that Darn Tough Socks are guaranteed for ever I was sold. They are worth the money.Thin and warm.Got these for a 20 year old ski girl...she loves them. Great colors.Darn Tough makes the best socks. Period. Am I biased because they’re locally made? Maybe, but if I hadn’t said anything you would have never known the difference. The socks speak for themselves. They have a ridiculous lifetime guarantee but you probably won’t need it...their socks live up to the name. Bought my first pair nearly a decade ago and they’re still going strong. Have a pair from them before the Darn Tough name (same company and mill) that are even older. These ones are ski socks and also work great under a tall winter boot. Design is fun and the quality is what I’ve come to expect from Darn Tough. Get a pair and I think you’ll agree they’re the best. The socks are comfy, warm, and practical. They stay up and dont really fall down my leg, which is nice too. Downside is that I have big calves and the design doesn't really hold it's design when stretched over my calf. So I can't find the yeti when I wear them, just looks like a blob. Small thing, but since you are buying socks with a design on them, just know the design may not look great if you have big calves. But if you are hiding them under your pants, no biggie, you know you have a yeti on your socks ;)They are thinner than expected. Very tight at the top. Inside there are strings from the pattern that hang down. When you put them on your toes can get caught in them. Not a repeat purchase. I bought another pair that I love from them that are much better. The thicker padded are much, much better. The seller sent the right item, and delivery was fast. The socks were a gift for my sister, and she said that she really liked them.Super thin with irritating toe seam! There’s no way I would have tried these for skiing at any temperature cause I’m sure I would have frozen my toes!We went backcountry camping and had a knee injury luckily I brought these socks along and was able to make a knee brace out of it. I will be taking these socks on every trip from now onI love these socks but they run a LITTLE short and don't quite cover my calves. I am a short legged 5'3 person. I also prefer the padded version as my feet run on the cold side.Taille 4-7 parfaite pour moi par contre plus gros mollets serait serréMy foot are 7and1/2 fits well. A little pricy but Pretty good !
